Two Cabins, Rebuilt: Beaver Den and Coyote Den
Big changes have been happening at Ohoopee River RV & Camp Resort, and two of our favorite cabins have gotten some serious upgrades!
If you've stayed with us before, you may remember the Beaver Den and Coyote Den as some of our more rustic camping accommodations. They offered a comfortable place to sleep after a day of enjoying the campground, but guests still relied on the nearby bathhouse and had limited options for preparing meals.
Well, that's changed!
This summer, we rolled up our sleeves and gave both cabins major renovations. We're excited to say that the Beaver Den and Coyote Den are officially finished and ready to welcome guests!
And these aren't just cosmetic updates. We've completely changed what a stay in these cabins can look like.
Beaver Den: Small Cabin, Big Upgrades
The Beaver Den has always been a great option for couples and smaller families looking for a campground getaway without having to bring their own tent or RV.
Now, it's even better.
One of the biggest additions is a full kitchen, complete with an apartment-size refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave and sink. Whether you're making breakfast before heading down to the river or cooking dinner after a day of exploring, you've now got everything you need right inside your cabin.
We've also added something guests have been asking for: a private bathroom with a shower!
No more walking to the bathhouse when you need to get ready for the day.
The remodeled Beaver Den features:
Full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and sink
Private bathroom with shower
One queen-size bed
Two twin bunk beds
Dining table
Sleeping accommodations for up to four guests
And if your family includes a four-legged member, the Beaver Den is pet-friendly! Guests may bring up to two pets with an additional refundable pet deposit.
It's a great fit for a couple's getaway, a small family vacation or a weekend of fishing and relaxing on the Ohoopee.
Coyote Den: More Room for the Whole Crew
If you're planning a getaway with a larger family or group of friends, the newly remodeled Coyote Den might be just what you're looking for.
The Coyote Den is our largest cabin, and we've made some major changes to give guests more comfort and convenience during their stay.
Like the Beaver Den, it now has a full kitchen and private bathroom with a shower, making it easier to enjoy an extended weekend or family getaway without constantly having to leave the cabin for the basics.
The full kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove and oven, microwave and sink, giving you the flexibility to prepare meals instead of packing up the whole group every time someone gets hungry.
The remodeled Coyote Den features:

Private bathroom with shower
Two king-size beds
Two twin bunk beds
Dining table with room for the group
With its larger sleeping arrangements and updated amenities, the Coyote Den is a great option for family getaways, group camping trips or friends who want to stay together while enjoying everything the campground has to offer.
All the Fun of Camping, With More Comforts of Home
One of the things we love about these renovations is that they make the campground experience accessible to even more guests.
Not everyone owns an RV. Not everyone wants to sleep in a tent. And sometimes, you just want to enjoy the outdoors while still having a kitchen, bathroom and comfortable bed waiting for you at the end of the day.
That's exactly what these remodeled cabins offer.
Both the Beaver Den and Coyote Den are just a short walk from the Ohoopee River, the campground bathhouse and our camp store.
During your stay, you can enjoy fishing, kayaking, exploring the campground, spending time around the campfire or joining in on one of our themed event weekends.
And when the day is done, you can head back to your cabin, take a shower and relax without ever leaving the property.
A Lot of Work, and We're Excited to Share It!
These renovations have been some of our biggest campground improvement projects this year.
From adding kitchens and bathrooms to updating the interiors, a lot of work went into turning these rustic cabins into more comfortable accommodations for our guests.
We're proud of how they turned out, and we're especially excited for returning guests to see the difference!
