Meet the Bird’s Nest: Our Coziest Cabin
The Bird's Nest is our smallest cabin. It might also be our coziest.
It's made for two people who want a comfortable bed, a roof overhead and a river right outside. No tent poles. No hauling gear.
We want to be upfront about what this cabin is and what it isn't, so you know exactly what to expect. Here's the full picture.
What's Inside
The Bird's Nest sleeps 2 guests with one queen bed. Linens are provided.
You'll also find:
A microwave
A mini fridge
A coffee maker
Heat and A/C
The heat and A/C make this a nice pick all year long. Cool morning in the fall? Warm and snug inside. Hot afternoon? Cool and comfortable.
Right Outside Your Door
Like all of our cabins, the Bird's Nest has its own picnic table, fire pit and grill.
That means you can cook dinner on the grill, eat at the picnic table and finish the night by the fire. Not bad for a little cabin.
What the Bird's Nest Doesn't Have
We'd rather tell you now than surprise you later.
The Bird's Nest does not have a bathroom or a kitchen.
Guests use our bathhouses, which have private bathrooms. It's a short walk, so pack a flashlight and some flip-flops for late-night trips.
For meals, you have the microwave, the mini fridge, the coffee maker and your grill. It's plenty for easy meals, but it's not a full kitchen.
If you'd like a private bathroom and a kitchen, take a look at our other two cabins. The Beaver Den and the Coyote Den both have a full bathroom with a shower and a kitchen, and both were just remodeled.
Who the Bird's Nest Is Perfect For

Solo travelers who want a comfortable base on the river
Tent campers ready for a little more comfort
Anyone who'd rather spend time by the fire than cleaning a big space
