Making Ohoopee Your Home Base: Monthly RV Living

Not every RV trip needs an end date.

Some folks want a quiet place to park for a month. Some want a base for the winter. Others are full-time RVers who need a good spot to land for a while.

If that sounds like you, our monthly RV sites might be a great fit.

Here's what staying a month or longer at Ohoopee River RV & Camp Resort looks like.

Simple Monthly Pricing

Monthly RV sites are $500 a month plus electric.

Electric is metered and billed monthly, so you only pay for what you use. At the start, you'll pay your first month plus a $200 refundable electric deposit. The deposit goes toward your final month's electric bill.

Want Wi-Fi? You can add it for $35 a month.

What You Get With Your Site

Every one of our RV sites is a full-hookup pull-through with 30 and 50 amp service. That means water, electric and sewer, and no backing in.

  • Gated entrance

  • Two bathhouses

  • On-site laundry with card-operated machines

  • Camp store

  • Off-leash dog run

  • River access

  • Shaded playground, walking trail, volleyball, basketball and horseshoes

About the Trash

We have an on-site dumpster near the exit gate. Just bag up your household trash and take it over yourself. There's no trash pickup at the sites.

Pets Are Welcome

Monthly sites are pet-friendly, and there is no pet fee. Bring the whole crew.

How to Apply

Long-term stays start with a quick online application. You can apply at www.ohoopeeresort.com/monthlyapp. Once you're approved, we'll get your long-term guest agreement signed and your site ready.

Proof of RV insurance is not required.

Location, Location

We're out on the river, but we're not far from what you need.

  • Right in the middle: We're about halfway between Savannah and Macon, so both make a great day trip.

  • Easy to reach: We're close to the interstate.

  • Errands and dining: Vidalia has restaurants and a Walmart.

  • Peace of mind: Two hospitals are 15 to 20 minutes away, one in each direction.

Mild Winters

Winter highs here average in the low to mid 60s, and we only see a couple of freezes a year. No snow to shovel, no ice to scrape.

Life on the Ohoopee

A month here means more than a parking spot. It means morning coffee by the water, walks on the trail and evenings by the fire pit. It means neighbors who start out as strangers and end up as friends.

Kids ride their bikes. Dogs go on walks. Golf carts cruise by at 5 MPH. That's river time, and it's a good way to live.

Good to Know

  • Quiet hours: 10 PM to 7 AM

  • Speed limit: 5 MPH on every road

  • Office hours: Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM
